A little about me...

I grew up on the eastern shore and love all things Maryland - beach, crabs, and football of course, but life recently took us on an whole new adventure out west to AZ! We have really embraced all there is to love here in Arizona from the incredible sunsets and mild winters to hiking trails and mountain views. 

Professional experience...

I graduated from Towson University with my degree in Elementary Education and have 9 years of experience teaching in grades K-5th. My most recent years of teaching were focused in English Language Arts and Reading Intervention. My passion for lifelong learning is evident as I pursue my M.Ed in Reading Instruction.  There are many books I hold close to my heart and PaperPie books have certainly found their way there.

How I got started...

My family and I fell in love with how interactive and unique PaperPie books are. I was seeking a way that I could use my passion and expertise in education, while having the flexibility to stay home with my children. I found what I was looking for through PaperPie, helping families and teachers find books and learning tools they fall in love with.
